Welcome to Tails & Tales: the 2021 OCPL Summer Reading Program. For each book read, participants earn one point towards end-of-summer prizes! 1 point online = 1 raffle ticket. In addition, we are bringing back our popular take-home bag program. From July 1 - August 18, we will be handing out weekly craft bags and hosting multiple in-person events. Logging your books for summer reading and registration for the take-home bag program are all in the same spot. Check out the PDF below with instructions on how to register.
We are also encouraging teens and adults to register this year and enter their books read along with book reviews; all opportunities to earn points/tickets. Adults & teens are eligible to win raffle baskets.

Coronavirus Pandemic Update
We are fully open to patrons.. No Appointment necessary.
Beginning Wednesday, May 19, we will allow fully vaccinated employees and patrons into the library without wearing a mask.
We are not going to ask to see vaccination records or ask patrons if they are fully vaccinated or not.
If you feel more comfortable/safer wearing your mask within the library, please do so.
Computer use and browsing is limited to 1 hour per session.

Please join us on Wednesday June 30, 2021 at 6:00 PM for a Summer Reading Kick-off event and ice cream social! We will have snacks and activities and your family will have the chance to collect information and register for the up-coming Summer Reading Program.
Playaway is changing the way kids read along. Every Wonderbook is a print book with a ready-to-play audiobook inside. Kids will press play to read along with their favorite books and then switch to learning mode for literacy learning and fun. We have a full selection available to patrons at the Elbridge Library.
So many exciting things taking place this summer at EFL! We will begin online registration for our Summer Reading and Take-home Bag program on June 14, 2021. Join Elbridge Free Library and Yoga with Carrie at Seymour Lofft Park on July 14, 2021 & August 11, 2021 at 10:30 AM. This will take the place of our regular story hour. Ages 3+ welcome to this kid-friendly event.
