A wonderful and magical visit from Santa at the EFL! We moved Santa outdoors and gave him a special socially-distant spot to greet our friends and patrons. Many thanks go out to our staff for working so hard to decorate our own personal North Pole, and prepare for his visit. Thanks to Mrs. Westby, Mrs. Preston, & Mrs. Tucker for making our windows a holiday work of art and a VERY special appreciation for the Disanza family for truly bringing the holiday spirit to our library. Thank you to She Rents Vintage, Three B Tree Farm, and AJP Tree Works, and to all patrons who donated goods and services to our event. Merry Christmas to all... old friends, new friends and to friends & elves who are watching over us from above.
Our First Annual Pumpkin Walk was a wonderfully enchanted event that took place at our library on October 24, 2020. We received 100 donated jack-o-lanterns and welcomed patrons to come and view our Halloween/Fall themed display; complete with a pumpkin witch and cauldron, jack-o-lantern literary characters, fairy houses, luminaries, a giant Minion, and lots of sparkling lights and spooky ghosts. The EFL staff would like to especially thank Ms. Preston for her tireless efforts, planning, and hard work in making this event possible. Also thank you Ms. Westby for heavy-lifting and creative planning as well. Such a great event for the community and the beginning of a new tradition! Happy Fall!
