EFL Announces New Director: Casey Westby
The Elbridge Free Library Board of Trustees is excited to announce they have selected employee Casey Westby as their new Director, effective July 1, 2022.
Casey joined the Board of Trustees in 2015 and the staff at the Elbridge Free Library in 2018.
A life-long resident of Jordan Elbridge, Casey brings with her a bachelor's degree from Canisius College, a working knowledge of library systems, and an enthusiastic love of reading.
Casey is a fan of Diane Chamberlain, John Grisham, Taylor Jenkins Reid, Karen Slaughter, and Blake Crouch to name a few authors. Casey averages about 85 books per year, and also enjoys audiobooks as well. Casey enjoys camping with family and spending time at the beach with her children.
Casey states, "My favorite part about working at EFL is being a integral part of the community. In recent years, I have watched this library transform into a very lively community center of sorts. I have met many wonderful families and made great friends. I love to share my passion for reading and book selection with everyone I meet. I work with a great team."

KAREN WHITE
1945 - 2020
Karen White began her career at the Elbridge Free Library in 1981. She dedicated her life and career to the Library and it's patrons. She served as the Director until the time of her death in 2020. She welcomed all patrons with a warm smile and a good book. She will be missed by Board, staff and community members alike.
