The Elbridge Free Library Board of Trustees is excited to announce they have selected long-time employee Camille DiSanza as their new Director, effective March 2020.
Camille joined the staff at the Elbridge Free Library in 1991 when her family moved from Syracuse to Elbridge. Camille began her career at EFL hosting Story Hour, and has held many positions within the library, wearing many hats, including clerk and library assistant.
Camille has worked for the County Comptroller's Office and Onondaga County Public Library in the Payroll/Personnel Department. Camille retired from OCPL in February 2018, at which time she focused her efforts on the Elbridge Free Library. Camille was the Interim Director at EFL from December 2019 - March 2020.
Camille is a fan of Harry Potter, James Patterson, Janet Evanovich, and Jennifer Chiaverini, to name a few authors. Camille enjoys quilting and sewing; her work is often displayed at the library. Due to her love of quilting, Camille hosts a weekly quilting class for EFL patrons to learn and share their projects.
Camille states, "My favorite part about working at EFL is the patrons. You get to know them, and share life experiences with them. You feel part of the community working here."
